Warning lights on channelizing devices

The following apply to all Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) projects:

  • Type D warning lights are required on plastic drums.
  • Two, Type C or Type D warning lights are required on Type III barricades during hours of darkness.
  • Type B high intensity lights are required on temporary concrete barriers.
