“Construction Workers Are People Too” Press Conference Scheduled

Abstract:

Road or highway construction workers place their lives on the line every day that they go to work. Although everyone wants to arrive at their destination on time, motorists driving through construction zones at high rates of speed place construction workers’ lives at risk. Many motorists forget that construction workers are individuals with families depending on them. Tragically, highway construction workers are injured or killed just trying to do their job. This press release announces the schedule of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) district office at Green Bay to hold a press conference on the Chicago Street and Crestview Lane intersection to remind motorists that construction workers have families too.
