Editorial: We Need More, Not Fewer, Construction Work-Zone Cameras

Abstract:

Radar-cameras have been proved to be effective in reducing  speeding.   Currently 12 states have radar-camera speed-limit enforcement in at least one location, seven states allow its limited use, and 13 states prohibit it.   Citing the recent work zone crash data posted on the National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse website, the author advocates for the adoption of radar-camera speed enforcement in the 28 states that do not have such law at this time.
