New Road Rules Going Into Effect

Author/Presenter: Raache, Hicham
Abstract:

Two new laws in Arkansas prohibiting cell phone use in school and work zones went into effect on October 1st. Under those laws, motorists are required not to use cell phone in school zones when children are present and in work zones when workers are present. Although as second violations, you cannot be pulled over for talking or texting alone while in these zones, you can be ticketed if you are stopped for a primary violation such as speeding.
