New System Seeks to Ease Traffic Snarls in Louisiana

Louisiana State Police officials announced plans for implementing a new statewide Traffic Incident Management training system.   The purpose of this system is to make sure all first responders follow the same protocols at an accident scene and get roads reopened more quickly.   The system was developed by the Federal Highway Administration and has been used in 33 states.
