PennDOT Turned Blind Eye to Crash-Plagued I-80 Work Zone, Records Reveal

One work zone in Pennsylvania is having big problems with major accidents. The problem was with poor work zone design coupled with poor location. After five crashes at the same site in a six-week period the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation finally had a state police car stationed nearby warning motorists of the upcoming work zone.
