Police Keeping a Close Eye on Construction Zones
Abstract:In Adams County, Illinois, multiple drivers are receiving tickets on one overpass for talking or texting while driving. Most citizens are aware that it is illegal to text while driving in work zones in the state of Illinois, but many are unaware of the illegalities associated with talking while driving. According to the law that went into effect back in January, there is a $120 fines for talking on the phone while driving through a work zone.
