Shanghai Commits to ITS Investment

In an effort to improve traffic flow, Shanghai, China makes use or its Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With 1,400 roads in the city under construction, traffic flow becomes a vital factor in traveling on the roads. To improve traffic management and maximize traffic capacity, billions of dollars will be invested in information technology equipment and services in the build-up to the World Expo in the city in 2010.
