VDOT and Oprah Ask Drivers to Put Phones Away While Driving

Virginia Department of Transportation kicked off its No Phone Zone campaign in April, asking drivers to put away their cell phones during the road construction season. Oprah Winfrey also encourages her viewers to get off the phone while driving. She has declared Friday (April 30) as the first national No Phone Zone Day.
