Michigan Department of Transportation Work Zone Safety and Mobility Manual

Specific processes, procedures and guidelines to support implementation of the policy are developed and communicated through the Work Zone Safety and Mobility Manual. This manual also includes methods for the analysis of crash data, mobility analysis, work zone training requirements by classification and work zone process review procedures. All projects will require that a transportation management plan be developed and implemented. For projects that are considered significant, those that exceed the mobility analysis thresholds, an in depth transportation management plan will be required.
