Pavement Marking Technician

This course is designed to increase the knowledge and skills of agency and contractor personnel who are responsible for the selection, installation, and inspection of pavement markings. The course includes instruction about pavement marking materials; application processes and quality control; pavement marking standards and principles as contained in the MUTCD; EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations; tort liability and other legal issues, including documentation and regulation compliance; as well as traffic control design for pavement marking installation.
