Allowing work zone staging changes (making the changes of the work zone traffic control setup) at night on high-volume, urban freeways

Utah has no specific requirement as to when traffic control should be done, day or night. Most times it is left to the contractor’s discretion when to make changes to traffic control. If there are specific problems identified, a special provision is usually written to cover when traffic control changes can be made.
