Design criteria for narrow-base, single-face barrier used on bridge decks in work zone staging applications

The only narrow single-face barrier for work zones is the Iowa Stacked H-pile Barrier. This barrier is 14″ wide and 28″ tall. Basically the barrier is two H-piles stacked on top of each other with flanges vertical and web horizontal. The core is filled with concrete. This barrier is TL-3.
