Lane closures in rainy weather

Indiana DOT does not have a policy to open lanes for any weather condition except for the winter months. Due to snow removal operations and other safety reasons, all lanes must be open to normal traffic from December 1 to April 1 each year. Of course there are always exceptions to this policy.
