Lane closures in rainy weather

Iowa has no specific policy regarding rain and opening lanes back up to public traffic. Depending on the type of work activity, oftentimes the lane cannot be opened in a short timeframe due to drop-offs, open holes, or other construction related issues, so the lanes would generally remain closed.
