Placement of G20-1 signs

In Louisiana, three W20-1 signs are placed in advance of the B.O.P. on 2-lane undivided, conventional 4-lane divided, and 4-lane undivided highway construction projects. On freeways and expressways, four W20-1 signs are placed in advance of the B.O.P. Only on freeways and expressways is a W20-1 sign placed 1 mile in advance of the B.O.P.
Additionally, a W20-1 sign is placed at all intersecting roadways, except dead-end roads, within the beginning and end of the project.
