Incident management techniques on major construction projects

Oregon stations tow vehicles at worksites to clear stalled or wrecked vehicles immediately. On some projects, Oregon DOT provides a traffic control person equipped with tow cable, water, fuel, etc., to assist stalled motorists and clear the roadway quickly.
