Permit requirements to install/erect temporary traffic control warning signs and other temporary traffic control devices along roadways

Minnesota has a field manual, Temporary Traffic Control Zone Layouts, that is part of the Minnesota MUTCD and applicable to all agencies performing work on any street or highway in Minnesota.
Permits in Minnesota require the use of the field manual or, in some cases, development of a specific traffic control plan for long term (more than 3 days) temporary traffic controls.
