Permit requirements to install/erect temporary traffic control warning signs and other temporary traffic control devices along roadways

In Kentucky, developers are required to obtain an encroachment permit when working within state right-of-way. The required temporary traffic control would be outlined in the permit application. Normally, the permit includes general comments: the applicant must follow MUTCD and state standards for traffic control, etc. In rare cases, a detailed traffic control plan would be required.
