Placement of G20-1 signs

Wording in the Ohio MUTCD was revised from “shall” to “should” in erecting G20-1 signs at the limits of any major construction project. Therefore, in Ohio you will see this sign at times placed in advance of the W20-1 sign and other times after it. It is up to the designer at the district level. However, majority of the time the G20-1 sign is placed in advance of the W20-1 sign.
