Sand barrels in work zones

Ohio’s design manual states in Section 603.4.4 that sand barrel arrays are designed for the specific site by the mfg. and must meet 350 TL-3. The AASHTO Roadside Design Guide gives similar design guidance. The L&D Manual does not specifically address WZ situations.
