Truck-Mounted Attenuator (TMA) requirement

NJ Turnpike requires TMAs on all projects regardless of its impact to traffic. It is required for the installation and removal of lane closings as well as shoulder closing, in addition to be used to protect the work zone according to ASSHTO guidelines. The TMA is bid as an individual item for each work zone, and is included in MPT as a lump sum.
