Certification requirements for personnel designing and setting up work zone traffic control

Washington DOT requires certification for personnel setting up and designing work zones. WSDOT has a requirement on the special provisions that every large contract have a certified Traffic Control Supervisor (state and contractor) assigned to the project, with training done by ATSSA and private consultants.
