100 Northern Virginia Employers Sign Pledge to Reduce Distracted Driving

Transurban-Fluor and AAA Mid-Atlantic launched the “Orange Cones. No Phones. Employee Safety Pledge” educational campaign program to reduce distracted driving in construction zones on the Capital Beltway in Northern Virginia. The program provides an online e-toolkit with materials and information designed to reduce distracted driving. The program challenged 100 employees within 100 days to take actions to reduce distracting driving. So far more than 100 Northern Virginia businesses have made their pledge.
