2011 Report: Distracted Driving on the Capital Beltway
Abstract:The 2011 report reveals that distracted driving awareness programs have had a positive impact on drivers’ distracted driving habits. The survey conducted by Transurban-Fluor and AAA Mid-Atlantic on the Capital Beltway HOT Lanes construction zone reveals that the number of people talking on hand-held cell phones while driving has decreased by 33 percent in just one year.
