Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) Crews Compete in Annual Equipment Operators Roadeo

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) hosted its 2025 Equipment Operators Roadeo on June 12, bringing crews from across the state together to test their heavy equipment skills and reinforce real-world safety practices. Participants competed individually in seven equipment categories—ranging from dump trucks to backhoes—demonstrating precision, efficiency, and safety awareness. District 5 secured the overall crew win, with top individual performers earning the opportunity to represent ARDOT at the Southeastern Regional Roadeo in Lexington, Kentucky, later this fall.
