B.C. Government, RCMP Launch Construction Zone Crackdown

In an effort to improve safety for workers and traffic control persons in construction zones, the British Columbia (B.C.) government and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have signed an agreement to work together to increase enforcement on Highway 1 in Metro Vancouver. Those caught speeding will face tougher penalties. The BC Flagging Association for Traffic Control People is grateful to the province and the RCMP for this effort.
