Cameras in Work Zones?
Author/Presenter: Fuller, JamesAbstract:
A suburban state legislator will announce today he wants to put automated cameras in construction work zones. State Rep. Paul Froehlich of Schaumburg and State Sen. John Cullerton of Chicago say they want to discourage speeding and accidents. They’ll try to push through a bill this fall that would put automated cameras in work zones. The cameras would have radar detectors that would trigger a photo of the license plate and face of the driver if the vehicle is traveling over the speed limit.
