Car Smashes Through Road Barrier

A car left a mess at the northern end of the road work zone on state Highway 146, just south of FM 519 on January 19, 2004. The car’s driver was headed south on state Highway 146 when he ran a red traffic light at FM 519 and crashed into the road closure sign shortly after 3 pm. He ran the red light and just plowed through the barrier. There were no skid marks on the ground.
