Causeway One.Network to Provide Hillsborough County With Work Zone Software Suite

Author/Presenter: Norman, Helen
Abstract:

Causeway one.network, a provider of digital work zone and road management platforms, has signed an agreement with Hillsborough County, Florida, to adopt its Traffic Management, Plan Share, and Live Link modules. This initiative aims to enhance work zone permitting, right-of-way management, and safety while improving efficiency and data quality for internal systems, connected vehicles, and partners. Following a successful pilot with the Florida Department of Transportation, the agreement facilitates statewide coordination and integrates with regional management by the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority. The Traffic Management module enables real-time communication of road interventions, Plan Share streamlines permit applications and approvals, and Live Link updates navigation providers with work zone information. The agreement includes access to a cloud-based platform for public and agency use, enhancing visibility and communication about road projects. Training will be provided to ensure effective use of the software.
