Col. Terrence B. Sheridan: Speed Cameras Help Save Lives
Abstract:To enforce work zone speed limits has been a challenge for law enforcement due to the constricted space of work zones. Maryland’s new automated speed enforcement provides a way to enforce the speed limit through work zones without further endangering police officers, highway workers, or the drivers themselves.
