‘Cone Zone’ Helps Track Street Projects

The city of Grand Island’s website has a “Cone Zone” section which lists all the road closures. Details include the location, project description, the agency doing the work, and start and completion dates. A new addition to the “Cone Zone” section is a city map that marks ongoing street projects with orange, red and green lines to indicate whether a street remains open, partially closed, or completely closed throughout the duration of the project.
