Elkin Police Chase Speeds Reach 130 MPH
Abstract:Patricia Ann Wagner of Wilkes County, North Carolina, was arrested Saturday morning and is now facing several felony and misdemeanor charges for larceny, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, speeding through a work zone, and many more. Wagner fled a local Walmart with over five hundred dollars of stolen property before being intercepted by an Elkin police officer. As the police officer pursued Wagner through a construction zone, her speeds reached up to 115 MPH, 60 MPH over the posted speed limit. Luckily the chase came to an end relatively quickly with no major injuries to anyone involved.
