FHWA and Partners Launch National Work Zone Awareness Week for 2018

Abstract:

The National Work Zone Awareness Week kick-off event was hosted by Illinois DOT on April 10.   FHWA joined its partners to raise work zone safety awareness during the kick-off event.   Citing the recent work zone crash statistics, this article introduces the brochures, guidelines, and training that have been developed under an FHWA Work Zone Safety Grant to help improve work zone safety.
