IDOT Encourages Public to Send Highway Sign Safety Messages

The Illinois Department of Transportation is inviting the public to contribute ideas for safety messages displayed on electronic signs that would help save lives. The messages should be in the categories of distracted driving, impaired driving, speeding, occupant restraint, work zone safety, and vulnerable users.
