Inspection Planned for Site Where Cars Sank in Concrete

Two vehicles sank into 12 inches of freshly poured concrete when they drove onto a highway work zone where barriers were in place to stop traffic. It is unknown why the vehicles would have gone past those barriers into the concrete. Kansas Department of Transportation officials are expected to inspect the work zone.
