Interstate 78 Drivers Beware: Automated Ticketing for Speeding in Work Zones Begins

A 60-day pilot project to monitor speeding in work zones without issuing tickets on some federal highways in Pennsylvania ends Wednesday. State police will begin to issue tickets under the Automated Work Zone Speed Enforcement program on Monday. There is a 5-day gap between the two periods to provide time for the motoring public to become aware of this change and hopefully change their driver behavior.
