Lawmakers in Maryland consider a bill on speed cameras as a potential solution to contruction site accidents. Revenues and safety would both increase greatly with such automated systems, giving great incentive to lawmakers to pass the legislation. However, fear of the “Big Brother” qualities of speed cameras are still an obstacle to the passage of the bill.
