MDOT Suspends Majority of Road Work for Fourth of July Weekend

The Michigan Department of Transportation has decided to remove a majority of lane restrictions on state routes in order to provide motorists with safer roadways for the Fourth of July weekend. Drivers are reminded to check the Mi Drive Web site prior to a trip, drive safely, and remember the new legislation that prohibits texting while driving, especially through construction work zones.
