Metro Police Focus on Traffic Enforcement in Work Zones

Author/Presenter: Hansen, Kyle
Abstract:

The National Utilities Contractors Association of Las Vegas is teaming up with Metro Police to increase enforcement in roadway work zones. Participating contractors will inform Metro Police of upcoming work zones so that extra patrols can be sent there if available. Prior to this joint effort police do not always patrol work zones and they would only know of work zones when they drove through. Officials hope this will help improve safety and reduce accidents in work zones.
