Road Construction Takes a Holiday

Wisconsin Department of Transportation will suspend most major highway construction and repair work during Labor Day weekend. But motorists may still encounter lane restrictions in work zones and the work zone speed limits will still be in effect. Police will also be out in force looking for speed violators and drunk drivers. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and drive safely.
