Safer Driving, Safer Work Zones: National Work Zone Awareness Week 2011

Abstract:

National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) 2011 will kick off April 4. This article reviews the brief history of NWZAW and introduces guidelines, products, publications, and training resources developed under FHWA’s Work Zone Safety Grant program as well as the resources available from FHWA’s Work Zone Safety and Mobility program and the National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse.
