Seven States, Two Counties, Two Cities Win Roadway Safety Awards

A total of 13 winners in three categories took home this year’s Roadway Safety Awards, jointly conferred by the Federal Highway Administration and the Roadway Safety Foundation. The awards were made in a ceremony at the National Press Club, with FHWA Administrator Mary Peters and Diane Steed, of the Roadway Safety Foundation, delivering the plaques.
