Speed Cameras on U.S. Highways?

Abstract:

While freeway speed camera is common in Europe, Maryland and Arizona are the only two states in U.S. that have signed it into law. Opponents and backers of speed cameras both suggest that eventually speed cameras will become the norm on U.S. freeways. This article takes a look at the issues and factors that stand in the way.
