State Highway Administration Resurfaces I-95/I-495 in Prince George’s County; Work Zone Features SafeZones Program
Abstract:The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) installed warning signs to provide a three-week warning period for the deployment of Maryland SafeZones automated speed enforcement cameras on a resurfacing project along southbound I-95 in Prince George’s County. Warning signs will be present through August 22 and citations will begin August 23. Drivers caught by a speed camera for going more than 12 mph over the speed limit in work zones with a 45 mph or more speed limit will receive a fine.
