State Police, DOT Announce Results of Operation Hard Hat in Saratoga County

Abstract:

Troop G State Police recently patrolled an active New York State Police Department of Transportation work zone in Saratoga County as a continuation of “Operation Hardhat” and issued 136 speeding, failure to move over and other violations in six hours. The New York State Police and the Department of Transportation “Operation Hardhat” was a joint initiative to crack down on work zone violations and highlight the importance of safe driving through active construction and maintenance work zones on state highways.
