Taking a Barrel of Caution in Work Zones

The Missouri Department of Transportation placed “Barrel Bob,” an 11-foot-tall figure made of orange and white recycled barrels wearing sunglasses, a hard hat and holding a caution sign, near road construction sites along Interstate 44 in Fenton last week. Barrel Bob’s mission is to remind drivers to slow down and take care in work zones.
