Texas DOT Failed to Provide Adequate Warning of Edge Dropoff to Driver Killed in Work Zone
Abstract:This is a decision made in the Texas Court of Appeals on June 10, 1999 over a premises liability case arising out of a fatal automobile accident. The Texas Department of Transportation (DOT) was held liable for the pavement drop-off that caused the accident and not for not adequately warning decedent of this defect.
