The Water Barrier Manufacturers Association Member Network Release New Product to Improve Safety of Motorists Navigating Work Zones

Manufacturers represented by the Water Barrier Manufacturers Association have developed a new technology called water-filled longitudinal channelizing devices (LCDs) for protection to workers and travelers.   Although accepted by the MUTCD standards, LCDs have been ignored by the industry while “Jersey barriers”, a six-decade-old technology, are still considered as the industry standard.
