Traffic And Safety Manual

Abstract:

Originally published in 2001, many chapters have been updated since then. The Traffic and Safety Manual is intended to provide guidelines or information on how a certain activity related to traffic engineering and safety issues are handled. To a lesser extent, the manual is also used to document normal and/or best practices. Contents covered in this Manual include the following: Signing, Pavement Markings, Signals, Speed Limits, Lighting, Traffic Engineering Studies, Temporary Traffic Control, Access, Utilities, Advertising Management, Crash Analysis Resources, Safety Program, SMS, Sign Shop, and Sample Plans, etc.
